Dav-Ric Group has officially commissioned its new corporate headquarters, Dav-Ric Tower, in the Oluyole area of Ibadan, marking another milestone in the company’s transformation from a modest oil and gas business established in 2008 into a diversified conglomerate with interests in telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate, hospitality and technology.
The commissioning ceremony, held on Saturday, attracted family members, friends, business associates, traditional rulers, security chiefs, politicians, captains of industry and members of the public, who gathered to witness the unveiling of the state-of-the-art corporate facility.
Speaking during the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Dav-Ric Group, Mr. Iyke Agwu, described the completion of Dav-Ric Tower as the fulfilment of a vision built on perseverance, resilience and unwavering faith in God.
“It is with immense gratitude to Almighty God that I stand before you today as we officially unveil Dav-Ric Tower. This project represents much more than a physical structure; it is the manifestation of a vision built on perseverance, resilience and unwavering faith in God,” Agwu said.
Reflecting on the company’s journey, he recalled that Dav-Ric began operations in 2008 as a modest oil and gas company with limited resources but an unwavering commitment to excellence.
“Today is not just the opening of a building; it is the celebration of a remarkable journey. We started with limited resources but unlimited vision, and through dedication and God’s grace, we expanded into telecommunications, manufacturing and real estate,” he said.
According to him, every stage of the company’s growth has been guided by a commitment to creating lasting value for clients, communities and future generations.

Dignitaries at the event included senior police officers, captains of industry, oil and gas magnates, politicians and other distinguished guests, including Engineer Anya Chukwu, President of the Rotary Club of Ibadan Bodija Estate and brother-in-law of the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Guests were later conducted on a guided tour of the ultra-modern facility, where they admired its contemporary architecture, spacious office spaces, modern work environment and world-class finishing.
Friends, family members and well-wishers also congratulated Mr. Agwu and the Dav-Ric Group family on the successful completion of the landmark project.
